CO Christian finished a great comeback against Adams St to get an 82-81 win in a wild finish in Alamosa last night.
Trailing by 10 near the midway point of the second half, the Cougars were able to cut the lead to 4 with less than a minute to go.
That’s when Bradley Land got the ball down low and made a great move under the basket. Land was fouled as he went up for the shot, but he made it anyway, along with the free throw to cut the lead to 1.
Following an Adams St turnover, Land found Shafer Reichart cutting to the basket, and Reichart put it up and in to give CO Christian their first lead since the 12:30 mark in the 1st half.
Adams St’s last second shot wouldn’t fall, and the Cougars escaped The Den with the victory.
Leading CO Christian last night were:
🏀 Noah Kon, 15 pts, 5 rebs, & 2 assists;
🏀 Jacob Everson, 14 pts, 4 rebs, & 4 assists;
🏀 Schafer Reichart, 14 pts, 3 rebs, & 1 assist;
🏀 Bradley Land’s, 11 pts & 3 rebs.
