Part 2/2
The reason my Slime Rancher is paused is because Subnautica 2 launched and I have been working on that the past couple of weeks. Got about 25 things left to design. This should be finished really soon and then I can resume progress on SR.
Part 1/2
I know it has been a while again but I figured it was time for a progress update. No the Grotto is not finished. I kind of lost motivation and shifted focus to working on the Docks instead. This project is on pause right now.
Got the entrance room to the Grotto done minus the roof. Still got quite a bit to do though. I wish it didn't take me so long, but building at an angle is complicated.
I wanted to do the Grotto last year, but went with the Lab instead as I needed to figure out where things lined up. Now that it is done, progress on the Grotto is going fairly quick. Don't want to promise anything but getting it done by Feb. seem do-able.
So last year I accomplished 2 of my 4 things on my build list. Unfortunately since Subnautica 2 got delayed I wasn't able to do that one.
Plans for this year:
- More Tropico builds (including 7)
- Subnautica 2 base
- Finish the main area of SR1
Build plans for this year.
- Finish main area SR2
- Add another expansion SR1
- More Tropico builds
- Subnautica 2 base
Possibly this year?
- First expansion to SR2
- Mochi's Manor
I had remembered seeing something from the trailer. It looks like the wings of the tadpole fold up when docked. Not going to update the download yet, but figured I would show it off.
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. While this may not be a new build, I have updated my Tropico vehicles to include the police car and cargo plane. Enjoy! Oh btw, I have a new Tropico build ready for the new year.

Just need to do a final detail pass to make sure I didn't miss anything and some clean up. Aiming for a Dec. 6th release. Next post will also include my plans for the rest of Dec. going into the new year.
Trying to finish this before the end of the year. In the first image you can see I did the path before adding the slope, while the second image shows it with the slope. Also don't worry, as I put walls under the trapdoors on the slab parts to make taking the path smooth.
Can you believe that it is the middle of Oct. already? The year is just flying by. Anyways, I have been working more on the map. The hardest part is still to come with the path and tunnel entrance, but it is getting there.
I have been very busy with real life and haven't had much time to build. I have half of the lab is done but I am going to have to put the project on hiatus until Oct., sorry.
