@PaulaKagan @salthorne @ubcappscience Hi Paula, thank you for your thoughts. Combatting biases was the focus of this panel (not a discussion of how it feels to be impacted by them) and that work should be done by those with power to change things, not borne by those who are oppressed by them.

@PaulaKagan @salthorne @ubcappscience The point of this panel was to center voices of the privileged to discuss what they can do to own the biases they benefit from and create more equity. We welcomed people of many identities on our panels and this one happened to not be racially diverse.
