@kwansfull No stakes are very accurate, the best in the world play the highest possible stakes, then the next tier of players play a stake below them and so on. At every stake you move up online, the regs get much better. There are no regs at high stakes that wouldn’t demolish lower stakes
@kwansfull No, if people want to show higher elo then they just play higher stakes. People play more seriously for money. A chess analogy would be top players like Hikaru or fabi saving their opening prep for the candidates or a world championship match instead of a random titled Tuesday.
@kwansfull Why would anyone skilled at poker play on this site as opposed to playing actual poker? People that r good at poker already know they are good
@thinkingpoker@TwoBlueScrews@NourPoker That it was a horrible take because clearly she isn’t a pro or isn’t good enough to realize how much edge there is reg battling. If you are the strongest player at the table ur going to make money regardless. “If there are killers you break even” is an awful and untrue sentence.
Adin Ross says before N3on was famous he used to order DoorDash to his house at 3AM & put in the notes that he’s deaf, just so the driver would spam his doorbell & wake N3on & his family up 😭
“I used to DoorDash stuff to his house and put in the instructions, spam my doorbell.”
@HighWorldRings@tombos21 You never defend BB you lose 100bb/100 in the BB position, you defend BB you lose 55ish bb/100, meaning u make 45bb/100 defending
Yikes: Seahawks star RB Kenneth Walker III has gone viral for IGNORING the water girl during the Super Bowl.
You can tell how embarrassed she was 😔
A pretty awful look for the Super Bowl MVP.
@JoshNoLook Or maybe Hikaru is 38 now and lost a match to the youngest 2800 ever? Kind of like when you were 38 kramnik, you lost the candidates to the youngest 2800 at the time, Magnus Carlsen
@JoshNoLook Kramnik attacked and harassed Danya in bad faith, kramnik even claimed danya cheated for checking his other monitor in a game against a 1k elo player… Magnus has done things like this many times that would “break terms of service” but kramnik has never called out Magnus, strange
I spoke with poker legend @Erik_Seidel about the negative impact of leaving the tax deduction for gambling losses at 90%.
Despite what some of my colleagues like @SenatorLankford believe, inaction will have serious, concrete consequences on the gaming industry and economy across the country including Oklahoma which has over 140 tribal casinos. It will also force gamers to pay taxes on income they never earned which is just unfair.
If we don't get this fixed, many gamers will face a difficult choice of whether they can afford to play or not. #FAIRBETAct
🚨 Nick Fuentes told someone to f*** and kill himself for suggesting he try an ancestral diet — meat, fish, fruits, and roots — to help his stomach issues, basically what humans actually evolved to eat.
Then he mocked the guy, asking if he was a doctor or scientist, throwing in slurs along the way. Well, I am a scientist, and I can confirm the follower was right.
That diet works because it supports the gut–brain axis, the biochemical link between digestion, emotion, and cognition. Animal protein provides L-tryptophan, the amino acid that becomes serotonin, your brain’s mood regulator and motility signal for the intestines. Healthy fats from fish and ruminant meat feed the cell membranes and hormone pathways that govern testosterone, thyroid, and cortisol balance.
Now contrast that with the standard Western diet. High in refined carbs and seed oils, it spikes insulin, overwhelms the liver, and floods the gut with fermentable sugars that feed dysbiosis (i.e. wrong bacteria in the wrong ratio in your gut). This creates endotoxins that leak into the bloodstream, triggering chronic inflammation and destabilizing neurotransmitters. In plain English: brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, irritability.
The ancestral pattern (animal protein, seasonal fruit, roots, organs, and salt), however, restores the body’s natural rhythm. It stabilizes blood sugar, improves bile flow, and lowers hepatic stress, which in turn reduces intestinal inflammation. When your metabolism runs on fat and amino acids instead of roller-coaster glucose spikes, both your mood and your digestion normalize.
If Nick actually followed that diet, he wouldn’t look like little Napoleon cursing out his own followers. He’d gain muscle, stabilize his hormones, and probably feel less angry at the world.
Even though I agree with some of his political takes, I’ll never understand why people glorify someone who treats others with such contempt.
