@CedricD_DT “So that is a relief.” Cho let out a warm chuckle, resting her head on Cedric’s shoulder. “What about you?”

Cho slid into a spot next to @CedricD_DT in the Great Hall, giving him a peck on the cheek. She’d yet to change out of her robes and into hufflepuff attire for the final task the evening but there was ample enough time for that.

@CedricD_DT She peered up at him wearing a warm but somewhat nervous smile. Under the table she took his hand and linked their fingers together, her thumb making small circles on the back of his hand in a comforting gesture.

“OWLs are finally finished,” she said with a relieved sigh.

“They are singing your praises,” Cho mused sitting with Cedric on a couch at the party, now in a warm sweater and pants. She clutched a hot toddy close to her chest and let the steam wash over her.

“Macmillan is practically his own cheering squad.”

@CedricD_DT Cho watched as Viktor came back with Hermione. Fleur waited anxiously near the edge of the dock. Harry & her sister were nowhere in sight.

She pulled away just slightly to look out over the lake.

“Something must have happened?” Worry crept into her voice.

@CedricD_DT “I’m proud of you,” she said softly.

@CedricD_DT If she could blush she would have, but she merely laughed softly and tightened her arms around his waist, resting her cheek on his chest.

𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶.

A simple phrase that made her heart leap.

@CedricD_DT “You found me,” she said, “and you won.”

A small smile spread across her face, bright even in the cold.

@CedricD_DT Gratefully she accepted the blankets and held them right around her body, but they did nothing to lessen the chill of wet hair and robes. Cho leaned heavily again Cedric.

“You m-must be freezing too,” she chattered, turning around to wrap them both in the blankets.

@CedricD_DT “What charm are you using?”

She set her quill down and quickly crumpled up the assignment with a sigh.

“We’ll freeze out there on the water.”

“Second task is tomorrow…”

Cho tapped her quill several times on her parchment, ink blotting over Ancient Runes assignment.

“Are you going to be ready?”

“And then he ran to me on the pitch and literally swept me off my feet,” she confessed breathlessly, cheeks flushed while she flipped through Witch Weekly as she lay on her bed.

“Feels like a dream sometimes.”

@CedricD_DT Cho’s grin softened as she relaxed into his embrace, a familiar motion she’d missed these past weeks over the holidays.

“Glad I could finally prove myself against you boys,” she teased, referring to her male counterparts on other teams.

@CedricD_DT Cho threw her head back with a laugh, arms around his neck. Cheeks were flushed from the winter wind and eyes glistened with excitement.

“You’re being modest,” she laughed. “I didn’t think I was going to get it for a minute but then it was in my hand!”

@CedricD_DT Cho leaned her broom against the bench accepting hugs from her team and congratulating them on a game well played. She shook few hands of the other team as well before finally finding Cedric and rushing toward him arms outstretched.

“I haven’t felt that alive in ages!”
