New title for life: Longest consecutive full time host in the history of satellite radio.

Yep, that’s me.🙋🏽‍♂️ Confirmed it last week in NYC with my @siriusxm family and executives. Hard to believe because I still feel young and full of fire, but I’ve been a host on SIRIUS (pre-merger w/ XM) since ‘00 when we were just testing our service, and I’ve NEVER STOPPED delivering my passion for Metal. I’ve been on air for 12hrs/day every weekday since the beginning on Liquid Metal (Hard Attack) and Octane! That’s the key… relentlessness. Other long time SXM hosts stopped doing full time shows over the years, some took themselves off the air, while others took a leave of absence. But not me. Not once.

For a Metalhead to hold this tile of longest consecutive full time host on satellite radio is a testament to our music and community. We’ve always remained CONSISTENT and RESILENT. Metal is always up against the odds, shoved aside for other genres, and left alone in the corner of the room. But we thrive in these corners, and we grow stronger. We never give up, we always show up, and the fire to push Metal to the masses fuels us. SiriusXM has amplified my voice, and the music from the bands we support, beyond my comprehension. They have given me this blessed opportunity to positively impact and infect YOU with METAL. I am extremely grateful to my company for always having my back.💯

Thank you for listening to me over the last 30 years of my Metal radio service, with 25 of those years being the OG host of SiriusXM. Pure and simple… my love of Metal brought me here, and I ain’t going anywhere but upward! I’m probably on the radio as you’re reading this!
