As anthropologist Margaret Mead said: "never doubt that a small group of thoughful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has". Onwards!

We have written a letter to our Prime Minister.
Dear @BorisJohnson,
We are writing to ask, to beg, you to please take control of this national crisis.
We are emotionally, physically, financially, and mentally trapped.

Last night on @BBCNewsnight. Responsibility for removing cladding lies everywhere apart from with the residential leaseholders. My advice to the Government: bail out these people trapped in unsafe apartments then make the arrangements to chase those who 𝘢𝘳𝘦 responsible.
Millions of UK residents are innocent victims of the #BuildingSafetyCrisis
Last night, we shared this film projection onto the Houses of Parliament.
Please share. Please make sure our voices are heard.

Trapped in Death Traps: 4 Years After Grenfell, millions still live in unsafe homes.
Campaigners from End Our Cladding Scandal highlighted the problem with a projection protest on Parliament, as @RagsMartel reports
Following the fire at New Providence Wharf last week, I’ve written to the Secretary of State for Housing @RobertJenrick. Residents need immediate protections.
Really pleased that @Keir_Starmer raised this today in the Queen’s Speech debate. The Prime Minister doesn’t get it and this crisis will only get worse until he brings forward legislation to protect leaseholders. @LeedsCladding@ukcag@LKPleasehold
There have been two cladding fires in London in the last two weeks.
Last week, the Tories voted down measures to protect leaseholders from the costs of the cladding scandal.
Almost 4 years on from Grenfell, hundreds of thousands of people are still trapped in unsafe homes.

1/3 @mhclg sinks to a new low by refusing to take any responsibility for the fire at NPW.
Two people taken to hospital. People's homes burnt away. People living in hotels.
@mhclg has caused this with their disastrous regulations. They must now take responsibility & liability.
This is a block with ACM cladding which I visited in 2019 as part of a piece about how long it was taking to remove. Here we are two years later - the cladding is still on the walls and now it's on fire.
“We’ve been living under this cloud for three and a half years and it’s not just the safety, it’s also that we can’t do anything. We can’t move. We are literally prisoners here… This day has been coming for three and a half years"
