Thanks to a parent for sharing this! We worked on perimeter of a triangle in class today. A student went home and taught his family using a length of 77!! Students are learning so many skills with @tang_math!! @FishkillFrogs @gregtangmath @SammonSTEAM @WCSDEmpowers

A little healthy competition between Ts and Ss. The Ss were jumping out of their seats to show their answers first. I ❤️ how excited they were to win - the glee..the hugs! Then they danced the “math”arena. Always fun with @gregtangmath! @WCSDEmpowers @FishkillFrogs @tang_math

Learning about properties of matter with the Property of the Day! Ss carried out investigations by exploring a set of objects, testing a different property each day, and explaining their thinking in science notebooks. @SammonSTEAM @KoehlerTara @WCSDEmpowers @FishkillFrogs

Ss had a great time with this STEM challenge. They had to create a balloon float and a device to keep it up in the air. Then we had a parade in the hallway, using Bee Bots as our handlers. @WCSDEmpowers @FishkillFrogs @SammonSTEAM @ANikolaTech

After learning about gratitude in @PosProject & thinking about all the things we’re thankful for, Ss wanted to help others in town who are not as fortunate. We set up a food drive and were so excited about all the donations we received. @FishkillFrogs @BresnahanMrs @WCSDEmpowers
