Unlike previous years, there were no campaign surrogates in Stonington’s district 4 this morning. In district 2, only Board of Finance member David Brown and resident Jen Thorpe were present. Brown believed it was due to uncontentious local races.

With 430 votes cast by 10 a.m., at Middle School on Field Street, the flow of Stonington voters has been steady according to Chris Rose, poll moderator.
“Early voting and absentee voting has really reduced the congestion,” he said.
