Lol at Traci Park "grateful to be featured" on the very same right-wing tabloid created explicitly by special interests to prop up her regime
Such honor!
@TraciParkforLA Uh, I’ll be the one to break the reality to you…. You’re a member of the City Hall that doesn’t have honest conversations and creates further problems for the city. 😒
Time for change that includes voting you out.
Erstwhile CD11 candidate @Newhouse4Senate, now currently one of many running for the 24th Senate, showed up to last night’s @VeniceNC meeting to memorialize longtime Venice resident @masmarc who died 6/27, but instead made it all about himself. Comparisons were easily made.
@shellenberger@war24182236@bettersoma Your invasive pictures of suffering individuals is true poverty porn and your only purpose to post them is to sell more books.
Not the flurry of "Know Your Rights" workshops by the same LA City Councilmembers that year after year hand a blank check over to the LAPD as a reward for violating said rights 🤦
Shameless
@mikebonin What’s more wrong is our @CityAttorneyLA is probably good with it. What is she doing to protect her clients—the citizens of LA? Large cities & state attorneys all over are suing the Trump admin over their overreach that violate constitutional rights, while Hydee plays her fiddle.
To be clear, and despite whatever you may hear from people like @MayorOfLA and @mhdcd8:
- LAPD escorts of ICE is cooperation
- LAPD setting up perimeters for ICE is cooperation
- LAPD arresting community resistance to ICE is cooperation
Fuck LAPD and fuck ICE, same shit
Hey LA: Every moment ICE spends navigating crowds or abandoning operations due to confrontation is a moment they're not tearing families apart.
Every second we delay them is a victory.
Keep resisting.
@TraciParkforLA We are reminded daily of your despicable hatred towards your unhoused constituents. Many of them are Jewish, so would your actions be considered antisemitism?
Venice has a lack of affordable housing.
From 2018-2024, only 266 affordable units were approved to be built in Venice or 1% of the City’s total affordable housing approvals. Compare that to 6,810 in Southeast LA.
The City of LA is SPENDING money (during a budget crisis) to STOP Venice Dell - an affordable housing project that the public wants, the City desperately needs, & that 👏 WAS 👏 ALREADY 👏 APPROVED 👏 by the City & the State.
(Even a federal Judge spoke up about it 👨⚖️)
Gov. Newsom is demanding that every city in CA criminalize homelessness. Knowing we don't have any permanent housing for people to go into. Knowing we only have 39 shelter beds per 100 ppl. Knowing rent is at an all time high and people are spending their entire checks on rent.
@TraciParkforLA You don’t offer interventions, services or housing. Unless “go away with your stuff or we’re going to throw it away or tow it” is considered an intervention.
