Saddened to learn that former Gahanna and Bowling Green basketball standout Tony Reid has passed away. Reid made Dispatch first-team all-metro in 1994. He scored 16.7 points per game one season at BGSU before injuries ended his career.

Congrats to Pickerington Central for winning the 2018 #OHSAA Track and Field boys Division I State Championship! It's the Tigers first boys track title.
Update on Division II district track. Girls district 1 discus will finish their competition starting at 9 am on Saturday May 19th. Please arrive in plenty of time for your athletes to warm up. Rest of Saturday's schedule is the same.
Division II (Westerville North) district 2 boys shot, boys pole vault, girls discus, girls long jump, and girls high jump will be today at 3:45 pm. After each event is completed, we will start the regularly scheduled district 1 field events.
Division III (Watkins) update from last night: District 2 boys shot, girls discus will be held Saturday, May 19th 1:30 pm. District 1 boys 200m and both boys & girls 4 x 400 relay will be run as a timed final with 8 fastest scoring and 4 fastest qualifying for regionals.
Update to yesterday's track meets reschedules: Division I (Darby) girls pole vault and two flights of girls discus will be run on Saturday May 19th at 9:00 am.
