@JJ_McCullough Comparing Vancouver to London is like comparing Sodom to Gomorrah.
It’s popular because of welfare and the once great culture that occupied it.
A hobo walks into a crackden and says “wow this is a nice place! It has walls!”
@locomorro4@CanadianPolling 1 - Palestinian flag in name
2 - Camel in photo
3 - Red and black flags in bio
4 - Communist

BINGO! BINGO!!!!!
@JJ_McCullough Ten years ago, Uncle Cletus would be bitching around the dinner table about how young men wore their pants too low.
Now it’s Aunt Karen bitching about how cops are Nazis.
Cringe old people will always be cringe old people.
@JJ_McCullough They don’t oppose Trump on how he is doing things — they oppose him on the values and the identified problems themselves
e.g.
They don’t say, “Let’s deport people more humanely with better background checks.”
They say, “Illegal immigration is good, and to say otherwise is racist”
@VanHofing @therealmrbench You run around X correcting people while completely ignoring the underlying point.
Go ahead and critique my phrasing if that makes you feel better, but the fact that you can’t recognize patterns or think past the surface of a statement is exactly what makes you sound like a bot.
@VanHofing @therealmrbench You are 100% right when you say the Liberal Government did not ban Don. You are 100% wrong if you think it is not the standard in Canada for the Government (in particular the liberal government) to censure it's opponents using the CRTC.
@VanHofing @therealmrbench What I’m saying is, if you’re upset about government overreach in other countries but fail to acknowledge that we have the same institutions here—only with even more authority—your point is moot. The only exception would be if you’re strictly talking about standards in general.
@VanHofing @therealmrbench On that note, the CRTC holds significantly more power than the FCC.
Last year, the Liberal government—backed by the BQ and NDP—voted to expand the CRTC’s authority, this time extending it over online platforms like YouTube and Netflix.
Get off your high horse.
@VanHofing @therealmrbench The FCC is what the CRTC is here in Canada.
Just a few examples of removals from the CRTC under the Liberal Government : CHOI-FM, RT & RT France, and MEGA Cosmos. Fox News, under investigation.
So yes... Canada also does this fairly regularly.
@JJ_McCullough Pretty typical coming from someone shielded by a protected class.
If you weren’t gay, you’d be out here with the rest of us—scrambling for work, just hoping to build a life and maybe start a family someday.
