So let’s get this straight: the Liberals are taxing food-insecure Canadians to feed billions into their growing bureaucracy.
A year after the PM said he’d be judged on grocery prices, Canada has some of the worst food inflation in the G7, 2.2 million food bank visits in one month, and 1 in 4 families are food insecure.
Nearly 3 years after Minister Champagne’s photo-op with grocery CEOs and his Thanksgiving promise, prices rose 8.6%.
Liberal hidden taxes, including the industrial carbon tax and inflationary spending, drive up the cost of growing, transporting, and buying food, while the weak dollar makes imports pricier.
It’s time to reverse the spending and taxes that drove food prices up and paycheques down so Canadians can afford to eat.
We are a family of 2 adults and an 11 year old boy in the GTA and our grocery budget averages $1250-$1500 monthly. We are a very frugal family using coupons, FlashFood, weekly flyer sales, reduced prices and discounts every shop.
The out-of-touch Prime Minister claimed the average family will spend $10,000 a year on groceries, only $800 a month.
He obviously hasn't been to a grocery store recently or isn't reading the right script because according to Canada’s Food Price Report 2026, a family of four is projected to spend $17,572 on food this year.
While this government touts numbers well below the national averages to justify their $3.2B recycled failed policy, the media is censoring any criticism in their coverage of Carney‘s grocery price illusion.
Canadians have had enough!
Exactly, he's just making shit up with money we don't have to shut everyone up. The world is laughing at the Liberals. Hahaha. Dude Carney, WE HAVE NO MOOLA
$3 Billion Food Strategy
Where is this money coming from?
How do we keep making new money commitments without increasing inflation?
Asking for a friend?
A $90 billion Alto boondoggle for Liberal elites, paid for by Canadian taxpayers.
Farmers, landowners, and working people are saying NO to Alto.

Carney was elected as the only person that could negotiate the BEST deal with Trump
Today: Trump says he is not planning on renewing USMCA & doesn't need anything from 🇨🇦
If 🇨🇦does not secure a new trade deal with the 🇺🇸
Carney will go down as the WORST PM in Canadian History
REPORTER: "Now that Alberta's negotiated an MOU on carbon pricing, should other provinces do the same?"
POILIEVRE: "We should get rid of the industrial carbon tax — a costly, job killing disaster that will push money out of our country and push the cost of everything higher."
This is the part some people miss: Opposition is not useless in a majority Parliament. A strong MP can still expose waste, pressure ministers, and force better decisions.
Matt Strauss pushed back, and taxpayers saved $50 million. That matters.
Why does Mark Carney control the media if he’s so honest and innocent?? The media isn’t supposed to protect the government, they are supposed to report for the people, right…
Mark Carney shows up once a week, answers one round of questions, and then retreats behind smirks, eye rolls, and peculiar facial expressions whenever his record is challenged. Canadians are looking for answers, not theatrics. They deserve honesty, transparency, and accountability—not avoidance, obfuscation, and deflection. For a Prime Minister to treat parliamentary scrutiny as an inconvenience is beyond shameful.
Our PM is not a CEO. Parliamentary democracy should not be treated as his inconvenience.
EXCLUSIVE & BREAKING: Ontario’s healthcare, finding a family physician & ER wait times, will be getting much worse.
Patients with Nurse Practitioners are getting emails saying their care has been transferred & their appointments cancelled.
The reason?
A federal-provincial fight that took effect April 1, 2026 where the federal government required provinces to fund Nurse Practitioners on par with doctors.
Ontario “missed the deadline”.
Then, the same day, restructured how Family Health Organizations get paid so Nurse Practitioner visits no longer count, meaning, no compensation.
So Family Health Organizations are forced to then de-roster their patients with Nurse Practitioners. And if they’re lucky, they get sent to family physicians that are already overworked, underfunded, and difficult to find. The rest that aren’t as lucky, must rely on the emergency room.
And to make matters worse, the communities most affected by this, are indigenous. First Nations rely heavily on nurse practitioners.
This has already been confirmed by the police officer who blew the whistle and brought this to my attention.
Our healthcare system is collapsing.
Thanks to Ford & Carney with Canadians being abandoned in the middle.
Another example of why diplomacy is always important… politicians should act in the best interest of Canadians—not just domestic polls.
Hopefully this is a humbling moment and doesn’t negatively interfere with potential progress being made by the federal government.
Anyone else tired of hearing the Liberals say “Canadians know” followed by more gaslighting.
This guy is one of the biggest culprits of it. We are in a recession & this guy is saying Canadians know that the Liberals are growing a stronger economy? We are literally living 1984
