@JamesMelville This “rant” should never be over. We collectively agree. Digital was supposed to make tasks easier, not harder or to take over our lives or info. I’m looking into a flip phone. We are held captive by only digital options.
@EllenBarkin It’s difficult not to relive trauma of abuse every time it happens to someone else. Every time you see injustice in the streets, in the courts and in post responses like these.
@johnc286@EllenBarkin Maybe the scream of more help needed means that seeing nothing changing, nothing being done, women still being abused by those who are supposed to love them…maybe that’s the screams for help we, as women are collectively screaming.
@toni_hs101@catturd2 Public venue with cameras everywhere. No one to blame but the cheater. If the mistress isn’t married then he is the only one in the wrong here. Don’t go to a concert and expect not to be seen by anyone. Give me a break. If you weren’t married you’d sing a different tune.
@catturd2 He went to a public venue to a concert, pictures, video, the crowd, you can’t expect privacy at an arena concert. Sympathies with his family and shame on him. Payout time.
So excited, close to launching my children’s book series focusing on #education and #NovaScotia! My first release will be something I’ve been working on for some time. Stay tuned!
@tobykeith We use red solo cups in my class. Stackable game, STEM etc…Yes they’re grade 5 but we always end up singing Red Solo Cup. Grade 5 students in Alberta Canada know who you were. RIP
attended NCTCA 2024 BY FAR my favourite session. Brilliant! Dr. LJ was lively, humorous and spot on! “You are the thinker of your thoughts, you are not your thoughts”! https://t.co/vOGGg1iCD7 @sched
What “leadership”? Cape Breton has been been ignored for decades while they enjoy the Highlands tourism dollars. I invite @TimHoustonNS to take a PR drive to Sydney.
The people of Cape Breton, many of whom remain stranded, deserve an apology. It’s fine to be a fair weather friend, quite another to offer real assistance in a time of need. That’s what Cape Bretoners are waiting for, and that’s the leadership we all deserve.
Tonight I’ve been hearing from Cape Bretoners who are scared and concerned about the magnitude of this storm, and deeply offended that the Premier decided to play politics today instead of offering support.
