Registration is still open for our first, but definitely not last, Class of 2027 Girls Flag Football Senior Showcase on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona.

This FREE showcase is designed specifically for Class of 2027 girls flag football athletes who are serious about playing at the next level.

Wow, so Southern Arizona high school football is declining? Hmmm. “Decline” is having Salpointe going deep in 6A playoffs last year, Marana and Desert View two of the top 5A programs in the state, Mica Mountain and CDO winning the last three 4A titles, Sabino, Pusch Ridge and Thatcher winning the last three 3A titles, Tanque Verde and Willcox perennially going deep into the playoffs in 2A and St. David a 1A power. Big 12 preseason honors:

Noah Fifita followed his All-Big 12 selection after last season by becoming Arizona's first preseason all-conference pick at quarterback.

@cdo_football grad Kayden Luke, now at West Virginia after playing at Arizona in 2024 and 2025, received the honor as the conference's top fullback in the preseason.
