@JamieLaing_UK Hey. I’m working on an event which celebrates your great-great grandfather Sir Alexander Grant. It’s called Grant Park 100 and will be held in Forres on August 24. I wondered whether you’d like to get involved. How can I contact you or your team privately?

[CDPublicity @CDPublicityScot]

@McVities Hey. Can someone from your marketing team get in touch. I’m involved in an event celebrating Alexander Grant who invented the digestive biscuit and we’d love for McVities to be involved. Cheers, Claire

Indeed. Couldn’t agree more.

We often get comments asking why people should have to pay for local news. Here’s why it’s important: 🧵/1

[John Davidson @BL6John]

A great piece from my colleague @IonaMJMacDonald - who joined @HighNewsMedia in the summer - about her experience of being part of the team that brought you the news from the #ICdebate.

Any young people interested in journalism - this is for you!

@nickymarr I had daily fights with my printer in lockdowns. As if home schooling wasn’t bad enough! My printer hates me! I call it Hal!!

FORRES CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON

A few photos from last night's event in Forres.

Delighted to be invited by @CDPublicityScot to cover the event for the amazing volunteers who do a brilliant job of getting the lights up each year.

Yep!

I did my journalism training at an FE college (Lambeth). Gave me everything I needed.

I look forward Fleet St re-embracing the FE college and ditching overpriced, elitist ‘masters’ degrees in journalism.

One for the regular ‘Mickey mouse’ degree purge?

Agree. It’s a trade not a profession
