Did you know public access defibrillators tell you exactly how to use them? They are designed for anyone to use and give both verbal and visual instructions to guide you.
A cardiac arrest can happen anywhere. If you witness one, you must call 999 and start CPR straight away, remember:
Rate - 2 compressions per second
Depth - push 5 to 6cm down on the chest
Don't stop - until help arrives or the patient regains consciousness
Know #CPRAnywhere.

Valentine’s Day is a day for anyone who wants to express their affection to those special in their life, regardless of their relationship status.
We’re usually prepared to do a lot for those we love, but is CPR one of them?
A person receiving CPR within the first three to four minutes of being in cardiac arrest is crucial to maximising their chances of survival. It also reduces the risk of living with a brain injury if they do survive.
Show your loved ones you care, by learning CPR today – you could just save a life one day.
School visit to @OrchardPSLeics this morning for @EMASNHSTrust joined by Ian @CDResponders and Ethan @NTUParamedic. We spoke to the EYFS pupils about Ambulances and CFRs as part of their 'Heroes that Help' topic. Then we set the sirens off in the playground!
