@WelshAmbulance thank you to the ambulance crew who took the time to check the public access AED, phone the numbers on it to notify us it had been used & replaced in the cabinet. Great thinking crew, more of this is needed.ensure AEDโs remain on service,available.@SaveALifeCymru
In recognition of our dedication to supporting the community and uplifting those around us, we have been invited to the Royal Garden Party an extraordinary honour that truly marks a once-in-a lifetime opportunity. To stand among those who have made a difference, in the community
We have been supporting Abernant community for 2 years to get a PAD in the area. We have now reached a point where we can get a site ready for the community and a live PAD site. This will be looked after by the residents of Abernant.
@everyone
We at Cynon valley defibrillators (CVD) would like to say a massive heart felt thank you to Santa ๐ (aka Ken Dillon).
Every year Ken becomes Santa and and does various events such as home vists as Santa. All the money Ken receives for his events is donated to charities
every year.
Kenโs daughter Gemma contacted us and asked if they could donate money towards the up keep of the public access defibrillators we have, as they wanted to donate to 2 charitable organisations. One being us the other being McMillan cancer unit at Prince Charles Hospital
Whilst out checking all the defibrillators, we noticed that one was missing the black carry case with the first aid kit in. This is the second one of our cases that have gone missing, but it was there 2 weeks ago?

Thank you to the family for notifying us the defibrillator has been returned.
We hope that all is well with your family.
A late night stroll ๐ถโโ๏ธ to check the defibrillator is okay and ready for use if needed for the next emergency ๐
Many thanks from the CVD team
with a heavy heart that we have been informed of damage caused to the public access defibrillator Abercwmboi on Rhianโs hair salon. This vandalism will be reported to the police, and we ask that if anyone has CCtv of the last few days to contact us.
