@stvmono841 Hope you get sorted, they did mine last night - didn’t re-settle the bets though, they added a goodwill credit to the account to the value of the negative amount
@Wise @abandamanda This happens all the time to customers so to say it isn’t something you take lightly is somewhat hypocritical as this thread is full of customers in the same boat
@abandamanda @Wise Yes, they just freeze your account and your funds. Same thing happens to a lot of people but you don’t find out before it’s too late hence me trying to warn others before they end up in situations like your mother - you can’t trust a company that does this
@Wise Your points are noted, but as stated other regulated providers wouldn’t just close an account and freeze funds leaving their customers high and dry so I’m just using this platform to warn others of my personal experience which seems to be quite common
@Wise Regardless of whether you handle these decisions with the utmost care and consideration, other uses have a right to know the risk they run in using your services
@Anthony56152431@Wise Just be grateful you can still access your own money! Accounts get closed and funds frozen quite regularly with Wise - it’s a nightmare
@Wise@su3_hokkaido Same thing happens to so many customers - don’t risk using them. Use another regulated provided so you don’t risk your account being closed and funds frozen
@kavyaj93@Wise Other regulated providers have been doing this for almost 2 years - the other issue is Wise will eventually just freeze your account and funds without warning and for no reason so be careful
