NNPC Ltd Deploys Over 1,000 Young Professionals

Over 1,000 Young Professionals (YPs) have been deployed into various NNPC Limited businesses, following the successful completion of a one-year Initial Professional Development (IPD) programme. Employed via the 2024 recruitment exercise, the YPs were the first recruits since the company became a limited liability entity. They have since assumed duties in their respective posts across the company’s businesses and locations.

This video reminisces over some of the key highlights of the IPD graduation, with the YPs providing unscripted accounts of how they were recruited and their expectations in coming to work in Africa's largest energy company.

Leading NNPC Limited’s senior leadership in celebrating the YPs, the GCEO, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari charged them to bring their best into helping the Company achieve its mandates. "Different paths, but the same door. And we opened it. That's what NNPC Ltd stands for today: not who you know or where you're from, but what you can do," he added.
