@dieworkwear It's an American thing said in arrogance whereas other countries say "we're the best despite all the messed up things we have". It's a subtle difference that makes a huge difference
@MikeyDiLullo How about the rule where you can touch every player on an NFL field but they better not even tap the QB in the head or else it's 15 yard penalty
@Underwood_szn Because there aren't unlimited subs and TV timeouts like there are in American sports. 45 min halves stopping the clock every time the ball goes out or there is a foul would destroy them physically
@schadjoe@GJ_Thomas So does Trump, doesn't mean we should listen to everything he has to say. The same controversy would occur. It's fine the way it is. It goes both ways. Sometimes it benefits you, and sometimes it doesn't.
@Stiff_FC Want to hear a crazy one ? The clock stops and restarts when the team snaps it only in the last 2 minutes of the half and 4th quarter. Any other time, once a player goes out of bounds, it starts as soon as the refs spot it again. Makes no sense.
@DavidBearman The more Americans hate soccer the better so I hope nothing changes so we don't have to read opinions from people that watch every 4 years, or only played when they were 5 and can't settle a ball or properly kick it.
@WillGavin Wenger's proposed change would be worse too. Best "solution" would be to only disallow the goal if the player scores with the body part that's offside (but not sure how that would work if it's a through ball)
@PANorrisJr@BartWinklerShow The tip of the football barely touches the ground after a catch? Count it as a catch. Don't even have to talk about the ridiculousness of balls and strikes in baseball
@TheCousinSal Nothing like baseball where relievers have to warm up after warming up in the bullpen. Imagine NBA players getting 2 minutes to shoot free throws every time they sub in
@DJJazzyJody Can you explain to me why baseball is the only sport where someone coming off the bench(a reliever), warms up in the bullpen and then has to keep warming up on the mound? What a waste of time
@pennebaker Let me guess, you only played soccer in grade school and didn't play in high school or college. Only those type of people would suggest such changes
@tsnmike Offside doesn't need to change. The game would be totally different, and not in a good way. This type of offside happens once in a blue moon. And there were 2 hand balls before sontje goal would have been disallowed and you probably would have complained about that too.
