Cannabis Equity and Inclusion Community, or CEIC, is for the Freedom, Equity, and Opportunities for persons and communities impacted by failed cannabis laws.
The @PLANevada Progressive State of the State Address started with Laura Martin, the executive director, saying Gov. @JoeLombardoNV’s “Nevada Way” plan does not represent the full community. It ended with a song about housing affordability, a topic barely mentioned in his STOS.
Our mixer is happening tonight at Echelon Event Center following #MJBizCon!

“Cannabis as Schedule 1 is in conflict with Nevada law,” said Clark County Judge Joe Hardy when he ruled in favor of the lawsuit brought by @CEICNV and @ACLUNV at yesterday’s hearing.

This morning @ACLUNV + @CEICNV scored a victory after a judge granted them standing in their lawsuit against the Nevada Board of Pharmacy. The group of advocates want cannabis removed from the Schedule 1 classification but pharmaceutical leaders argued it’s out of their hands.
@CEICNV entered the RJC w/ @ACLUNV this morning around 9:30 with 25 of our members. We want the State board of Pharmacy to align with the Nevada constitution regarding cannabis schedule. Today the judge ruled our case has standing. On to hearing we go!!
