The situation has become particularly critical following Russia's missile attack on the port of Reni last night, through which barges transited. With access through the sea and Danube cut off, exports will slow to a trickle, further challenging #FoodSecurity in import countries.

Food is being weaponised via these horrific attacks by Russia on civilians and port infrastructure.

Russian attacks and statements are immediately affecting #FoodSecurity and prices.

If this continues, it will reverberate throughout the EU and into wider global markets ⬇️
