Hayden Christensen recalls going on a walk with George Lucas one evening while filming Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith:
"George ended the conversation by saying to me, ‘Hayden, you can't change the world. It's not possible. All you can do is try to make your own world and then invite other people to be a part of it' ... It was one of the most profound things that anyone's ever said to me, and it has really informed the way I live my life"
@luanalopeslara@itskevinjin I feel like the positive spin on market making is generally "we provide liquidity so you get better prices" and not "you misunderstand, citadel does this too so it's legal" 😂
@ArtemisConsort > masculinity is something additional that happens on top of a feminine default
This is actually already plain as day if you look at the Y chromosome as an addon (which it is).
It's those things that everyone "knows" but doesn't actually "understand"
@RokoMijic@chrislakin yes, and two people ending up together is not the same as two people ending up happy. if you want to end up happy I would say the original point holds
also, your story is pretty cute and I think it reinforces that you should just be yourself
@arithmoquine The most revealing thing about this phenomenon is that "sorry about that, I think I was wrong <EOT>" is a totally reasonable continuation after a couple sentences of nonsense, and yet it remains absent from the output distribution despite posttraining (or maybe because of it?)
