Please be aware of your surroundings around your home and report anything out of the ordinary. A surveillance camera was recently found hidden in bushes near a home in the 12500 block of Summerwind St in Cerritos.
A local High School received call of a possible threat in the area. Cerritos Sheriff’s deputies immediately responded, and the school was placed on lockdown. The investigation determined there was no active threat, and the school was cleared and deemed safe.
