October 10, CESA 9 collaborated with schools in a day of professional learning at Rhinelander High School that we refer to as Common PD Days. What a great day it was! Over 1000 educators came together to connect, grow, and inspire!

Another special guest today is Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul! He came to speak at the Critical Incident Response Team Training hosted by the Department of Justice.
This week we are honored to be the hosting side for the Wisconsin Department of Justice while they are doing their Critical Incident Response Team Training! We took the opportunity to get a snap of some of the special guests, officer Jeff Schremp and Theo!
July 1 means new adventures! Our former Agency Administrator, Karen Heldt, is enjoying her first official day of retirement, and our new Agency Administrator, Al Betry, is diving into his new role starting today! We look forward to seeing what the year brings for both!
Here is something very powerful I have learned from having cancer and going through chemo:
I cannot stop it from affecting my body, but I must not allow it to affect my mind.
The mindset I bring to this battle is enormously important.
Leaders! Don’t avoid a necessary conversation because it makes you or the other person uncomfortable.
Discomfort is a catalyst that signals something isn’t right and someone needs to make a change.
Don’t flinch. To avoid the discomfort is to fail to lead.
@CESA9 and the Excellence in Teaching Program have two virtual open house events coming up! Talk to our program team to learn about our WI Department of Public Instruction-approved Post-Baccalaureate Pathway to becoming a licensed teacher! #cesa9#excellenceinteachingprogram
UDL Principles shared @Innov8WI virtual conference with our facilitator, Mia Chmiel @CESA9. Great knowledge shared, as well as online tools - assessment, breakout rooms. Thank you. @WisconsinDPI
My son’s kindergarten teacher is doing an optional bedtime story tonight. She’s saying hi to every child as they log in and how she misses them.
Teachers really are some of THE BEST people on the planet. For those of you in the trenches every day... THANK YOU. 💙
