We intend to stage a final farewell event, to which we will invite all members past and present. An announcement regarding this will be sent out as soon as possible.

As part of the winding-up process, we are currently dealing with the assets and monies of the society, and would urge members (past and present) to contact our treasurer Simon Jones, on [email protected] regarding any stage properties they might be holding.

Much as we have wished to avert this, the current number of permanent members and other factors mean that we are no longer able to sustain a company that performs staged productions.

"THE LONG DAY CLOSES."

At the recent Annual General Meeting of the Chapel End Savoys Players, the members present, reluctantly, decided to wind up the Society.

A number of us are going to see the Ferrier Operatic Society do 'Ruddigore' on 16th-18th of May by way of study for our 'Ruddygore' in July. Also to catch @gnsjackie and Daniel Gideon Jaffe on stage!
