@Billie_T tbf no one rugby tackled the goalkeeper + was an out swinger and fantastic header : not an Arsenal set piece so I have no shame in celebrating
England are so set up to not lose.. great possession control, but lack of penetration through the middle.
Tuchel may be the best manager ITW in knockout foootball and setting up to have every advantage.
It may not be pretty or exciting, but it works if executed well
The problem with England is.. 2 fast direct wingers, neither coming inside, yet Bellingham’s going beyond Kane; the middle is wide open, and you need a Foden/Palmer to exploit that from a winger position, drifting inside and picking up pockets, that’s where we can be our best
Haiti have some ballers tbf, shoulda got more tonight, a few too many chances squandered.
Deedson looks dangerous on the right, tore Robertson a new one in that 1st half.
The LHS with Providence, Expérience and Bellegarde has great motion as well.
Excited for their Brazil game
@TheBlueDodger@VoetbalPrimeur Hato just needed a few months of good guidance and settling in, he was super at Ajax, youth captain and then men’s captain at 17/18 years old. The quality he possesses is world class, could easily end up being a legend here
@CounterPressers Anderson, O’Reilly, Rogers, Guehi, Mainoo will all be world class at some point too. Neville is semi-rage baiting, although his idea of world class is Ronaldo/Rooney/Beckham, so I see his point. In today’s football though, Jude, James, Declan are all powerhouses in their position
@CounterPressers At the moment, Saka/Bellingham may be t6/7, haven’t been in top form for a while, but I agree I think there are 10+ world class-ish (talent-wise) English players: Palmer, Foden, Rashford and Stones all have been there at some point in the last 2/3 years. (1/2)
