🚨🤑 Chelsea chiefs handed themselves massive pay rises last season, despite suffering record losses. Executives took home nearly 80 per cent more than the previous year, and directors enjoyed a hike of almost 60 per cent – while other staff, including players, were paid only six per cent more. The newly-released accounts of Chelsea FC Holdings Limited, the immediate parent company of the football club, reveal “key management personnel” received a total of £10,593,000 in the 2024-5 campaign – a massive leap from £5,893,000 the previous season. What infuriates me the most about appointing Rosenior is the fact that if he had managed any other club not named Strasbourg, he wouldn't have been Chelsea manager.
No ambition, no project, no winning mentality.
Their stubbornness and arrogance will be the death of this club.
I’ll never give up on Fofana and Lavia. Injuries don’t always define players, and they’re definitely showing that. Fofana has had two year-long career-ending injuries and still he performs at a very high level. Errors? Yes. But you don’t give up on players like him nor Lavia.
Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana (25) on his €80m price tag:
"Every error you make, the fans remember the price tag, but it is part of the game. I wanted to do too much. I wanted to justify the price too much, but now I've accepted it." (TF1)

🚨 BREAKING: Chelsea have discussed Bournemouth centre back Marcos Senesi, who turns 29 in May, but Chelsea are more inclined to look for a younger name. Tabs are being kept on Jeremy Jacquet and Jacobo Ramon, and have scouted Tolouse centre back Charlie Creswell. (@JacobsBen)
He’s actually not human. So many brutal injuries and he comes back each time like nothing happened. Elite.
We are set with him, Colwill, Acheampong and Anselmino.
It’s absolutely mental to watch Maresca use the same useless tactics against these low-blocks every fucking time. When will we ever see an overlap? You can’t rely on set-pieces, long shots and shit crosses.
Until Badiashile and Colwill are back, let Fofana and Acheampong start the important matches.
I geneuinely didn’t believe a repeat of Fulham (H) last season was possible but holy fuck…
@fjfifndjdidb@jojoslyfe21 Wouldn’t it then be sensible to have Palmer and Estevao doing that? Just don’t wanna see Palmer in the LHS, it’s a nightmare to my eyes.
@fjfifndjdidb@jojoslyfe21 I hear that but even at Palmeiras he was mostly used as a RW or RM, i.e. the positions where he can use his 1v1 strength the most. Maresca's system also relies heavily on the wingers' ability to create from these 1v1 situations, so I'm confident Estevao could be an asset there.
