If Ross Smith wins the title tonight, he is absolutely 100% nailed on for the Premier League by the way
Nobody can win 2 majors in a season and not be in
They absolutely hate us
Itโs the most one sided rivalry in world football
Sure, we donโt like them but theyโll never be Arsenal to us.
They think they are but nowhere near

It's not just one game though. It's the biggest fixture of the season and he served up that absolute tripe.
He doesn't have enough credit in the bank yet to get away with that
Today wasnโt good enough from Alonso or the players. But MY GOD this fanbase is so reactionary when it comes to players and the manager after one game.
@UTFFCAllTheTime Cant see us getting much joy on Wednesday with the players we'll have missing but yeah it'll be looking bleak for him if he gets it wrong again next Saturday
The goal this season is CL football and a domestic trophy. That's very achievable. 65 points got Villa 4th place last season, with 11 defeats.
In 8 games we've won 4, lost 3 and drawn one. Over a full season, that's 62 points, which was 5th last season.
I think we'll improve over the season (as well as adding Alex Scott). So I think by the end we'll be close to 68-70 points - which was always the most realistic expectation this year.
20 wins, 7 draws and 11 defeats gets you 67 points (enough for 4th last year). I think we'll win at least one more and lose one less than that, hence 70 points is achievable.
We WILL have more defeats like today, the improvement of our consistency and mentality will take time. But we'll also have better performances and wins, and hopefully become more consistent over the season, and maybe win a domestic cup.
Progress is step by step, with ups and downs - it'll take time to be title challengers.
