Stop the “why would they join Chelsea, we have no ucl”. First of all players know a club is never guaranteed UCL football the season after joining.

Sesko, Mbeumo, Cunha all joined Utd who had no UCL and only Europa league the year before. Whilst wanted by UCL teams.
