⚠️The Egyptian Relief Committee in Gaza had been organizing public screenings of World Cup matches for displaced families across the Strip. About an hour before today’s Egypt-Argentina match, Israel killed the committee’s public relations director in a strike on his vehicle. Two others, including a child, were also killed.
Madame Celeste Amarilla,
🚨🚨 Kylian Mbappé on Paraguayan senator Celeste Amarilla's racist comments:
"Mrs Celeste Amarilla,
You are a despicable woman and unworthy of your position.
You do not represent Paraguay, that country which has sweated passion and honor throughout the competition.
Through your recklessness and your brazen racism, the entire world has already forgotten the journey and the historic effort that your players accomplished during this World Cup, making way for an incompetent woman who gives the worst possible image of her country.
I will never allow people like her the freedom to spread their hatred and racism across the world."

Absolutely dystopian day for gamers everywhere. Yes, even you who doesn't care about physical games and has a fully digital library.
All this does is funnel everyone into digital storefronts where PlayStation and co. control the pricing operation. You will lose additional options and pay more for games. Look at any nearby storefront's pricing versus what you'd pay for with that very same game on PSN.
This is not about upcoming handhelds or even that digital purchases outweighing physical. It is about maximizing the dollar spent everywhere and cutting out the middle man. Pulling the trigger when PSN isn't even feature complete with things like back compat, gifting games, has major security exploits, etc. is certifiably insane.

The 45 minutes I’ve just seen. We are not too good to go down next season. These players are SPINELESS. Once again they’d be making it less obvious if they just spat on the badge they’ve been that disgusting this season.
- You sacked Tuchel for Potter
- You chose Pochettino over Enrique/Nagelsmann
- You chose Winstanley/Stewart over Vivell
- You sacked Maresca for Rosenior
- You failed to sign Maignan
- You failed to sign Gvardiol
- You failed to sign Huijsen
- You failed to sign Jacquet
- You failed to sign Olise
- You failed to sign Barcola
- You failed to sign Ekitike
- You failed to sign Osimhen
- You have wasted £1bn on crap
The most backwards ownership I have ever seen
Liam Rosenior: “I'd also like to highlight that this is our Premier League With Pride game, where we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in football and the work we do to ensure the game is ever more inclusive and welcoming for everyone. It's a very important message and a campaign we're proud to support at Chelsea.” [🔵chelseafc - Programme notes]
🗣️ Stephen Bunting has insisted that he deserved to be called up to the Premier League, and that he does not care what people think now that he is in.
"I was confident up until not getting a text until the last 27 minutes! I felt like I deserved to be in but you never know what happens because there are so many fantastic players.
"I was world number four for nine/ten months of the year and the PDC see how well I played on the World Series - I'm still number seven in the world.
"I'm in! I don't care about any chat now of whether I should be in or shouldn't be in."
