In 5th grade we added instruments to the train songs of Irish immigrants. They did a great job layering different rhythms.

With our 5th grade lesson today we took a closer look at two Chinese instruments and their culture. We also did a guided lesson on how to write “I am,” in Chinese. Then I asked them to finish that sentence “I am…,” and they wrote some beautiful responses.
