🌾 Ontario Agriculture is about people.

Behind every field, barn, greenhouse, orchard and farm gate is a person and often an entire family working hard to keep Ontario agriculture moving forward.

🌱 Ontario agriculture starts with people. And those people are worth supporting.

Ontario’s livestock sector depends on strong veterinary support, and the Veterinary Incentive Program (VIP) is helping build that capacity. VIP provides financial incentives to encourage newly licenced veterinarians advance their careers in food animal practice, while helping address the growing need for veterinary services in rural and underserved areas. By supporting the next generation of veterinarians, the program is strengthening animal health, on-farm biosecurity, and the long-term resilience of Ontario’s livestock industry.
