The U.S. eliminated ISIS’ #2 in Nigeria - the greatest military success it has had since beginning counterterrorism operations in December.
There is still far more work to be done to stabilize Abuja and protect Nigerian Christians.

“The persecution of Christians abroad is often a concentrated expression of the very forces American foreign policy opposes: jihadism, authoritarianism, lawlessness, and anti-democratic repression.”
@themariamwahba and I argue in the @ChristianPost that Christian persecution and American foreign policy are inextricably linked — and the how the former can inform the latter.

“Save us, we pray, O LORD!” Psalm 118:25
This Palm Sunday, as Christians worldwide celebrated Jesus' triumphal entry, gunmen massacred 17 in the mostly Christian city of Jos, and 13 in Kaduna State, Nigeria.
Take a moment to stand with them. Pray for their families. Help the survivors. Demand government officials bring justice. Trust in God.
As we enter the New Year, we lift up persecuted believers who walk daily in faith and obedience to Christ.
May the Lord strengthen them and remind them they are not alone.
This church is in a hostile country where pastors received death threats and told there would be "no opportunity to celebrate Christmas anywhere in the country."
And yet, Christians placed a bright star on their church and celebrated Christmas with gifts from Christian Freedom International.
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:5
Merry Christmas from all of us at Christian Freedom International!
Urgent: Y Quynh Bdap, a Christian advocate for Vietnam's hill tribes, was branded a "terrorist" by the communist government. He and other church members fled to Thailand.
Yesterday, Christian Freedom International met and prayed with Bdap's wife and small children.
Today a Thai court approved extraditing Bdap to Vietnam where he faces prison and torture. He could be extradited as soon as this week.
Pray for Bdap and other Vietnamese Christians who have been tortured, imprisoned, and oppressed, and for countries to give them refuge.
Thank you, Pres Trump, for taking strong actions to combat the persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
Sanction complicit officials until Nigeria: Purges the military of terrorists. Abolishes blasphemy laws. Punishes militant Islamists.
Justice for victims.
Reading this made me feel a deep sense of gratitude. We live in a country where we can freely worship God.
No group should ever be persecuted for practicing their religion. We don’t have to share the same beliefs in order for us to respect each other.
Numerous countries all around the world are being affected by this horror & it’s dangerous to pretend we don’t notice.
Thank you to The President & his team for taking this seriously.
God bless every persecuted Christian.
Let’s remember to lift them up in prayer.
The world has largely ignored the persecution of Christians in Nigeria: 7,000 killed, 3.5 million displaced, and three churches destroyed every day.
It’s time to break the silence, raise awareness, and support those enduring unimaginable suffering.
@MikeWingerii And help the Christian survivors. Christian Freedom International helps children/orphans, widows, and young adults to build a future after the attacks. https://t.co/HWCIRkBeTB
Rep Moore & Sen Hawley condemn persecution of Christians in Muslim nations, urge Pres. to prioritize in diplomacy, trade, security, and efforts to stabilize Middle East.
"Many Christians don't want to flee; they wish to stay and practice faith without fear." Wendy Wright, CFI.
Burma earthquake toll could have been higher if God had not led us to act a year before.
We dismantled a concrete tower at our school.
Instead of looking for trapped people, our teams were free to help others.

The elderly ladies cried and thanked God for the food. It was not the food that made them cry. They were moved by something with a deeper meaning.
After a lifetime of being mistreated, behind the tears is gratitude for being treated as a child of God.
