@MarieMacklin @NHSaaa Took my partner to Crosshouse on Saturday. Fortunately he was seen quickly, we left a few hours later by which time people in beds were queued up in the corridors and a number of ambulances were waiting. I cannot fault the care from the staff but what a heartbreaking sight.

@ChrisG_CXG @cookmandy My mum taught primary 1, she was stabbed with a pair of scissors by a five year old.

In this film our chair, David Threadgold, reflects on the importance of remembering those who gave their lives in the service of others and the lasting impact their sacrifice has on colleagues, families and communities.

The first ‘go-fund me’ have appeared on Facebook. Please, please do not donate to any funds until an official one is launched from Cleveland Police or their Federation. The collection may be genuine but equally it may not and the money will never reach the officers family.
