Over a week after our sold out Ocean Reception at this years Conservative Party Conference, we’re still riding the wave of support from patrons, partners and conference guests. 💙

In partnership with our friends, @GBOceans, this packed-out event celebrated the incredible impact of the UK’s Blue Belt Programme 🌊

Did you know orcas roam British waters? From Scotland to the Channel, these apex predators are part of our marine story 🇬🇧

One male, John Coe, has been spotted off the Scottish coast since 1980 — over 40 years as one of our most familiar wild residents 🌊

Sand dunes are among Britain's most threatened, overlooked landscapes — and are a priority habitat under UK law 🇬🇧

These true guardians of our coastline are home to rare orchids, protected natterjack toads, and countless invertebrates 🐸

Did you know? Britain is home to 40% of the world's Atlantic grey seals. Found all round our coast, from East Anglia to Northumberland 🇬🇧

If you spot one on the beach: please admire from a distance, keep dogs under control, and give it space. They’re cute but not your friend! 🦭

Atlantic bluefin tuna are a remarkable recovery story! After vanishing from UK waters in the 1960s, many feared they’d never return 🐟

Today, sightings are rising thanks to tighter international management and changing marine conditions – proof science-led conservation works 🔬

The charismatic puffin, with its unmistakable striped bill, is one of the most beloved sights on our coastline 🌊

The UK is home to over a million each breeding season, nesting in clifftop burrows from the Farne Islands to Skomer — a much-loved highlight of the British summer 🇬🇧
