The press briefing room being so small, makes you realize how much of a backbone Trump really has. To say what he says, straight to some of these press members faces —most would have a false cordiality in person and stab you in the back in private. Trump is truly himself 100% of the time!
Iran: "Death to America!"
US: ...
Iran: "We're going to build a nuke to we can bring death to America!"
US: ...
Iran: "We're going to build missiles so we can bring death to America!"
US: ...
Iran: "Just so we're clear, we believe Israel is the Little Satan and the US is the Great Satan."
US: ....
Iran: "We are going to try to destroy America's land-based aircraft carrier, Israel."
US: *sigh* "Fine, Israel, go ahead. Slap them a little bit."
Panicans: *cries* "Ugh! Israel!"
Iran: "Still building nukes tho. Death to America!"
US: *Sigh* "Fine. Feed the B2s. But *only* feed them the nuclear stuff."
Panicans" *crying* "We don't want WW3! Trump is going to get us into WW3! No boots on the ground!"
US: *sigh* "Guys, the B2s are already home. It's already over and done."
Iran: "Death to America!"
US: ...
Iran: "We're rebuilding a missile program! Oh, and we're working on nukes again."
US: *sigh* "Don't."
Iran: "Screw you!" *bombs American bases*
US: *sigh* "Okay, we told you."
Panicans: *crying* "Why are we doing this!? Can't we just leave Iran alone! No foreign wars! This will start WW3! No boots on the ground!"
Democrats: *crying* "Why are we doing this!? Can't we just leave Iran alone! No foreign wars! This will start WW3! No boots on the ground!"
Yes, another verse you have taken out of context. Read the rest of the chapter. Jesus is talking about bearing fruit and being a profitable Christian, not losing your salvation.
This is actually sad man, because there’s no way to force you to read your Bible. You just have to do it yourself.
I hope you realize that salvation is gained by faith alone. That is the only way to heaven. No works of your own can justify you. No works can take away that gift once you’ve received it. I pray you acknowledge this truth someday.
@abefrohman84@BreeSolstad Galatians 5:4 Paul is talking to the Jews who trust the law, not Christ.
AGAIN, you are ignoring the context of the chapter and Book.
Like I can’t force you to read the entire book, man. Cmon now.
I am not rewriting the Bible. I just refuted all your Cherry picks. I can do so to your others as well. Don’t twist the words. I didn’t say a saved man can fall away. Read very carefully. I said your posterity who must choose on their own. You’re ignoring the consistency of this even seen in the OT.
To believe you can lose your salvation is to believe you have earned it or worked for it.
Paul refutes this in Ephesians
“For by Grace are ye saved, not of works, lest any man should boast”
I believe that I cannot work for my salvation, therefore I cannot lose what I did not accomplish. I have no power to overturn the seal of the Holy Ghost. You believe you somehow have that power?
Paul constantly talks about our life after we are saved. We should work out our salvation. That doesn’t mean earn. It means prove. You show others that you are a Christian.
Don’t disagree with you there!
Just explaining that it is impossible for a “Christian” to not be saved, since that is the definition. You are not a Christian if you are not saved. No one is claiming to know who is and isn’t saved.
You are not a brain surgeon, if you cannot perform brain surgery.
Yes, John 15 fits the same pattern as the OT examples—professing ‘branches’ who don’t bear fruit show they were never vitally united to Christ (like Judas). True branches abide and bear fruit because the life is in Him. Salvation is secure in Christ’s finished work, not our performance.
John 10:28-29 for reference
“and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.”
