Two tweets in two days. Wild.
I am excited and honored to announce that I’ve accepted a tenure-track position at @UCDavisPsych in the Quantitative Psychology area beginning in July.
Couldn’t stage a formal photo op since I have to review some simulation results.

I'm very excited to announce that data from Wave 13 of the CFP are now available for youth, moms, and dads, allowing us to study development across 17 years (age 10 to 26). Wave 14 is in progress and should be complete by summer 2025! /1
New CFP paper by @RoxieRXCheng shows that temperament trajectories across adolescence have prospective effects on academic outcomes. Increases in effortful control had a particularly strong impact on academic success when parental monitoring was low. https://t.co/NAkri8ohjn

@lpsatchell Here's a recent article that provides a framework for understanding the degree to which, and in what ways, Neuroticism and well-being are jangled constructs. https://t.co/x5zSXDe8vD
Does anyone know of a Spanish translation of the DSM-5 Level 1 Cross-Cutting Symptom Measure? NIMH is requiring that we use this measure in the CFP but I can't find an "official" (or any) Spanish translation. https://t.co/wECK1OQSez

Enjoyed rereading this paper on personality and rel't satisfaction in dyads (Robins et al): "Every [dyadic] relationship is made up of two personalities, and both partners' personality traits jointly and uniquely shape the quality of their relationship." https://t.co/Xksd6dWNuf
New CFP study led by Lauren Gonzalves found that Mexican-origin youth experiencing more family & peer conflict are at higher risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors, whereas youth who feel more connected to their families are at lower risk of suicidality https://t.co/C5ne0x3P3r
There’s a HUGE gap in personality development research–it's focused on the Big 5, but personality is hierarchical! So we know little about processes at higher-order (metatrait) or lower-order (facet) levels.
So we studied it! & the results are SO COOL! https://t.co/FN4EoAUjcZ
