This afternoon, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service Command Team was given the chance to review Foxton Fire Station as well the surrounding community so as a service we can begin to understand the best way of protecting our community and it's residents.
Yesterday crews were paged to high angle rescue. Crews were soon to discover someone still attached the parachute and dangling off of the steeple of the Church. 2 high angled rescue qualified personnel scaled along the building to bring the traped person back down to the ground.
Last night crews were paged to a double story structure fire. On arrival at the scene, crews were met with a building engulfed with flames with multiple people reported inside. We would like to thank @cambsconstab for their hard work making sure traffic control was in place.
Congratulations to the following for their Service Promotion:
Crew Manager Adam Jones
Crew Manager Leo Mahk

This evening, we deployed B05P1 and A17P2 of which we deployed our Water Rescue Zodiac to conduct a search of the lake for any persons.
We are happy to report that no one was found within the water.
