A just and lasting peace for Ukraine will require robust and credible security guarantees. Last night's cowardly attack underscores the urgency of that mission.

I was honoured to stand with President Zelenskyy in Kyiv late last month as Ukraine marked its Independence Day. As I affirmed alongside Prime Minister Svyrydenko in the same building that was damaged last night, Canada stands with Ukraine and Putin’s unrelenting aggression will never weaken our resolve.

Canada is steadfast in its commitment to the Coalition of the Willing and its willingness to deploy direct and scalable military assistance in support of upholding a ceasefire and lasting peace.

Yes, there have been even worse US presidents than the ones we see currently. By now, neither Biden nor Trump has said any such nonsense, although Ukraine should be able to defend itself, without planes and without hitting military or strategic targets in russia, or the belief that putin is a great guy who is interested in peace, are very close.
