@wjgrieshop They used all their energy against the Seahawks, I guess? I live in SF so flew to Seattle to watch that loss, then had to watch tonight’s loss among the enemy.
@wjgrieshop@JoshWilsonSB While I think that’s generally a team covering, even if we accept it was mid Falcon game (a win, but not because of DJ), the point is valid? We haven’t seen healthy Daniel Jones since then
@ZachHicks2 you’ve been level headed over the years - what’s the most optimistic view for next season? Richardson comes back and gets them to 10-7? Riley Leonard turns out to be Brock Purdy 2.0? They burn it down but reap enough draft capital to rapidly accelerate a rebuild?
Bummed for many reasons. One big one was I was excited to bring my kids to a west coast Colts game next year. But if Jim Irsay isn’t even going to try, why should I?
I’ve never felt more for a player than Tyler Goodson after this (tough to make) play. Hoping he keeps getting shots, either with the Colts or somewhere else.
A late-night dispatch from Lucas Oil:
Inside the locker room after that dropped pass by Tyler Goodson on 4th-and-1.
“I just felt like a failure,” Goodson said, teary-eyed. “I know I’m not a failure, but that's what it felt like.”
