Uganda marks 64 years of Independence. The strides we are making are towards achieving true independence but for us at CFIU, it’s empowered communities and that’s what we are here for.
#community#empowerment#children#youth#women#girls
We celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere. And honor the trailblazing women who have paved the way for progress and equality. Empower a woman, empower a community. Let’s work together to uplift and support women in all aspects of life.

A 12 year old who lives with her aged grandmother shares her picks and lessons from the #PadforHer MHDay2022 event. We are glad to hear of such stories from girls who have been kept back for so long. Now she can freely express herself, speak up and advise others not to be shy.
We are thrilled to announce that in collaboration with YIMUKA, we shall be empowering young entrepreneurs and help their businesses to success.
This partnership emerged from a series of constructive exchanges with Daniel Walk, a Co-founder at Yimuka Uganda

Yet again our partners @savethechildfound have gifted us 500 resuable sanitary napkins through AFRIpads and we did drop by AFRIpads factory to pick the donation. We feel great partnering with this ambient organization; they definitely understood our agenda
#MHDay2022#padforher
As this year's 28th May (MHDay 2022) is approaching, we are hoping to double our impact from 350 girls to over 600 girls benefiting from our distribution of sanitary napkins. Please consider a gift because girls are missing out on school and other activities due to menstruation
=Breaking the Bias=

We visited a local HIV/AIDS service organization on #WorldAIDSDay2021 had a chat with Dr. Edward Ssemwanga, the Medical Director, Villa Maria Hospital in Kalungu District about HIV/AIDS in young people; "young people have a key role to play in achieving an HIV free generation."
Do you Know Your Status??
Do you care about your health & Safety? Take an HIV test, Get in Care and Stay in care.
Together we can end the HIV epidemic by 2030 and acquire an HIV free generation.

And today, we are doing a media campaign to push forward the message and yet again cling to our Manya tailored agenda.
#WorldAIDSDay2021
Global theme: "Ending the HIV Epidemic: Equitable Access, Everyone's Voice."

Activism Station X:
Our community intervention in celebration of #IDG2021 - a day celebrated globally, basically movements by girls for the girls in support for girls opportunity & empowerment.
We made sure we add our voice and boldly the girls stood up for their rights.
Covid-19 Pandemic has accelerated digital platforms for learning, earning and connecting, although some still do not have internet access and this is greatly a reality for girls living in rural villages of the world's least developed countries like Uganda. #DayOfTheGirl#girls
We shall also beam the light on girls' rights and on issues affecting girls & how they can be resolved.
One action at a time, we can make our communities safe for girls. Spread the word, a girl's voice cannot be silenced! #DayOfTheGirl
