1/3 - The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana has selected the Town of Borden as this year’s recipient of its Quality of Place – Pathways to Progress grant, awarding the organization $150,000 to develop the south side of Borden Community Park.
2/3 - The project includes the installation of an inclusive playground and restroom facility, both of which will be ADA-compliant. Renovations also include a permanent water source to provide hydration stations for visitors using the nearby Monon South Trail for walking & biking.

All scholarship applications must be submitted through our online portal by 11:59 p.m. No late submissions will be accepted.
There is just ONE WEEK REMAINING to submit completed scholarship applications through our online portal.
Applicants should use this week to tie up any loose ends, finalize all of their uploaded documents, and submit their applications. The deadline to apply is Monday, Sept. 18.

1/3 - The moment Charlestown Senior High School's Emma McCutcheon discovered she was awarded the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship - which offers 4 years of free tuition to any college or university in Indiana - she was stunned.
2/3 - "When I had found out that I was a recipient of the Lilly, it changed my outlook on my future completely. It opened doors for me that I was scared would never even have the opportunity to be opened. I will forever be grateful."
