Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction is restricted exclusively to the ordained clergy. All laymen are limited from handling the Blessed Sacrament.
This is a serious problem.
The Sin That Sends More Souls to Hell More Than Any Other According to Our Lady of Fatima... ⤵️
Many people think the sins that offend God most are the ones that make headlines. But one warning connected to Fatima points in a different direction.
When Our Lady appeared at Fatima in 1917, Sister Lucia later recalled that the Blessed Virgin said:
"More souls go to Hell because of sins of the flesh than for any other reason."
This warning from Fatima is consistent with what we find throughout Scripture and the teaching of the Church: sins against chastity are not small matters. When freely chosen and left unrepented, they can seriously damage our relationship with God and place our souls in danger.
That warning feels especially relevant today.
We live in a culture that often treats lust, impurity, and sexual sin as normal or even harmless. But Scripture speaks differently. St. Paul warns that those who persist in serious sin without repentance place their souls in danger (see 1 Corinthians 6:9–10).
The good news is that God's mercy is greater than any sin.
No one is beyond forgiveness. Through Confession, prayer, God's grace, and a sincere desire to change, every person can begin again.
Our Lady urged people to pray the rosary daily, make sacrifices for sinners, and turn back to God. Her message was never about fear alone. It was a call to repentance, hope, and conversion.
💬 What do you think of Our Lady's warning? Do you think our culture takes sins against purity too seriously, not seriously enough, or about right?
NEVER FORGET: 59 Years ago today, 34 brave American Sailors paid the ultimate price, along with 170 wounded while serving aboard the USS Liberty. The Israeli Fighters strafed, torpedoed, and dropped napalm upon our defenseless boys as they desperately waived the American flag to our "greatest ally". American carriers sat idly by as desperate calls for help went unanswered. As the great historian @RogerJStoneJr noted President Lyndon Johnson personally gave the ok for this attack on the USS Liberty.
For 6 decades, the story of these men has been silenced. A new age dawns upon America as the young people of today have woken up to the Enemy within our gates. Today we honor these brave men remembering their legacy and committing ourselves to a true America First patriotism theologically rooted in the 4th Commandment.
"Honor thy Father and thy mother." Exodus 20
Thomas Massie delivers the truth about the intentional Israeli attack against the USS Liberty on the House Floor on the 59th year anniversary of the attack and calls for a real investigation.
He says there was a 17-hour delay in receiving help after they were under attack by Israel.
“It was intentional murder by the state of Israel.”
“The Israelis were intent to leave no survivors.”
“This was an effort to kill everyone on board.”
10 Things They DON’T Want You to Know About Israel’s Attack on the USS Liberty:
1. Israel identified the ship as American hours earlier and then attacked anyway.
2. Israelis jammed all U.S. distress frequencies so the ship couldn’t call for help.
3. One torpedo instantly killed 25 crew.
4. Israel shot up life rafts with machine guns.
5. Israeli helicopters circled the ship after the attack but refused to help the wounded crew.
6. U.S. jets launched twice to save the ship but the U.S. military ordered them back during the attack.
7. Congress never did a full investigation despite 34 dead and 171 injured.
8. Navy investigation was rigged: top lawyer swore they were forced to call it a mistake.
9. Joint Chiefs chairman and NSA leaders called it deliberate and a U.S. cover-up.
10. Survivors were threatened with court martial if they talked about it.
In his historic address to the members of the Spanish Parliament, Pope Leo XIV clearly denounces the crime of abortion and euthanasia, emphasizing that “the defense of human life is not a partial issue nor a confessional interest: it is a goal of civilization.”
Later on, he acknowledged the greatness of the Spanish People by stating that “Spain has known how to look upon the human being as something more than a piece of the social, economic, or political order.”
With this, the Holy Father reminded the world that the magnificent Catholic Spanish Empire, under the School of Salamanca, was precisely the one that laid the foundation for what the West now recognizes as 'Human Rights.'
“Five hundred years ago, in the university seat of Salamanca, when new worlds and immense possibilities were opening up in relations between peoples, some masters understood that reason could not be invoked to clothe with legitimacy whatever force or interest presented as convenient. They thus introduced into historical discernment the question of the irreducible value of every human being and the moral limits of power.”
Beloved Spain, evangelizer of half the globe, reclaim your faith, your memory, your greatness! Long live Spain, the Catholic!
This week's Catholic Patriotic Minute remembers Antonin Scalia, who loved St. Thomas More and stood up for Catholic teachings on abortion and same-sex marriages during his time as a Justice of the US Supreme Court. Watch his story!
Happy Feast of Corpus Christi!
Today (or last Thursday) Catholics around the world celebrate the gift of the Eucharist. I was honored to help carry the canopy and escort the Bishop who brought Jesus throughout my neighborhood in Destin.
Corpus Christi, salva me.
D-DAY'S LAST WITNESSES
God Bless these American heroes. When the final ones are laid to rest, a part of our hearts will be gone forever. 🙏🇺🇲
On June 6, 1944, nearly 160,000 Allied troops came ashore in Normandy, and about 73,000 of them were from the United States, per the National WWII Museum. They were the visible, living link to the largest amphibious invasion in history.
The 80th anniversary in 2024 was widely described as likely the last major D-Day commemoration with living veterans present. CNN reported that even the youngest survivors were nearing 100, and that organizers treated the gathering as a final chance to honor them in person. Two years later, that window has narrowed further.
By the 2030s, a vanishing few
The projection does not level off at a few thousand. It keeps falling. The VA expects fewer than 10,000 living WWII veterans by 2029 and fewer than 1,000 by 2034.
At that point the survivors would be about 107 years old or older. A handful of supercentenarians may stretch the timeline slightly, but the trajectory is set by basic demography, not by any single uncertain assumption.
When the last veteran dies, World War II leaves living memory
By the early 2040s, the VA projects that essentially no living WWII veterans will remain. When the last one dies, World War II will pass entirely out of living memory, the way earlier wars already have.
On June 6, 1944, before dawn, 13,000 American paratroopers dropped behind enemy lines into occupied France. By first light, nearly 160,000 Allied troops were crossing the English Channel in the largest seaborne invasion in history.
We call it D-Day, and the name itself carries history worth understanding. The Army has long described it as simple alliteration, much like H-Hour, while the French connect the D to "disembarkation." Some call it the "day of decision." When someone wrote to General Eisenhower in 1964 asking for a definitive answer, his executive assistant, Brigadier General Robert Schultz, replied on his behalf: "Be advised that any amphibious operation has a 'departed date'; therefore, the shortened term 'D-Day' is used." Whatever the origin of the name, what happened on that day needs no translation.
The boys hitting those beaches, Omaha, Utah, Gold, Juno, and Sword, were not hardened veterans in most cases. They were 18, 19, and 20 years old. They were farmers from Iowa, steelworkers from Pittsburgh, and fishermen from New England. They were young Americans who had grown up during the Depression and answered the call when their country and the free world needed them most.
At Omaha Beach alone, American forces suffered nearly 2,000 casualties in a matter of hours. Men were cut down in the surf before their boots ever touched sand. The ones who survived pushed forward over the bodies of their friends. They took the bluffs. They broke the Atlantic Wall.
They turned the tide of the Second World War.
I think about those men often. I think about what they carried, not just the weight of their packs, but the weight of knowing what was at stake. They were not fighting for a political party or an ideology. They were fighting for the idea that free people have the right to govern themselves, that tyranny does not get the last word, and that some things are worth dying for.
82 years later, that charge has not expired. It passed to us. Say a prayer today for every man who fell on those beaches and in those fields, then ask yourself whether you are living in a way that justifies what they paid. God rest their souls. God bless this Republic.
WHAT CHARLIE KIRK TEXTED ME: The failure and cowardice of Catholic leaders, especially the Bishops, to put an end to these types of LGTBQ scandals, prompted Charlie Kirk to send me this text message on June 1, 2023:
CHARLIE: "Stuff like this prevent good people from converting like me"
MY REPONSE:
"Charlie, Your righteous anger at this would make the God Man proud...for it was the Savior himself who found His Father's house...full of a den of thieves. Yet instead of leaving it...He cleaned up house and threw em out...restoring "ortho-doxy"...greek for "correct teaching" back.
I cannot thank you enough for the example of Faith you do show for you are more "Catholic" than most Catholics.
At the same time...its simple.
The US is full of people and leaders who stand for everything the US is not. If I looked at the Bidens and Obamas to determine if I wanted to become American...I would run the other direction. Instead....I look to the documents our Country is founded on...and thereupon make my choice to be and die if necessary...to be an American.
Its no different in the Catholic Church. The place is full of sinners...but the doctrine is solid with an intellectual arsenal able to answer any challenge posed to it...and with a roster of "Founding Fathers" who gave blood defending it.
One day I predict youll join and become even greater than you are now. In the meantime keep up good work. Pray for me as I do for you daily here at St Bernadette." @USAYep
Thankfully, Charlie started to see past the human weaknesses of the Church availing himself of the graces of attending Daily Holy Mass in the last months of his life and wearing the St Michael Medal around his neck that fateful September day.
LGBTQ ‘lavender graduations’ set to take place at major Catholic colleges, including one with a drag show:
SACRED HEART OF JESUS have mercy on us for the tremendous scandal we as Catholics give to our fellow Americans for allowing this to happen. 🙏🇺🇲
The ultimate responsibility for allowing this, rests squarely on the shoulders of the CATHOLIC BISHOP whose Diocese the University is located in. As much as they try to pass the blame, the bucks stops with them spiritually and according to Canon Law. To those Bishops, the words of Christ come to mind:
"It were better for him, that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should scandalize one of these little ones." Luke 17
