@latimes Jonathan Gold is rolling in his grave. Shame on you for doing these puff pieces. You know that nobody who goes to Coachella actually reads newspapers right?
@latimes it is almost incomprehensible that the same publication that used to host Jonathan Gold could put out a puff piece on Nobu’s embarrassing $350 Coachella “omakase.” Danielle Dorsey has the same level of food criticism ability as a Yelp reviewer. What happened?
@Apple why is your iOS predictive texting so bad? Like if I type “I feel” it autocorrects to “o feel” and there’s literally no reason ever why anyone would want “o feel” instead - so why does this happen? Am I hallucinating that predictive text used to be significantly better?
@tvaziri I mean I watched it as a kid and knew it was animated… really surprised people thought it was real. But I grew up seeing shooting stars all the time (very little light pollution)
This is a delicate moment. It’s a new day and yet so many are on edge. Our politics are inflamed, and social media only adds to the anxiety.
It seems that @elonmusk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge.
In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning. Let’s hope for healing and work toward unity in the months and years ahead.
@SonOfCairne@DiscussingFilm Except we’re discussing US box office. Fun fact: only 3 of the top 10 grossing movies of all time in the UK are British films, and American-coproductions at that
