10,965 NCAA football players entered the portal.
- 3,972 FBS
- 2,771 FCS
- 4,222 D2/D3

Many have signed and are enrolled at new schools.

But 6,671 NCAA football players are active and hoping to sign.

JSZ All-Zone Public Team ST Profile: Sebastian Kovacs, Cedar Grove 🏈

Kovacs was one of the state's most reliable special teamers during the 2025 campaign. His booming 48-yard FG sent the Panthers to the Group 1 state final - that was one of his five made field goals this season. Kovacs was also a kickoff specialist and even scored on defense this season.

JSZ All-Zone Public Team LB Profile: Thomas Cannataro, Cedar Grove 🏈

Cannataro was one of the most fearless linebackers in Essex County and beyond. He was among the state leaders with 113 tackles and was the senior leader for a Panther team that won 10 games and made a state final appearance.

JSZ All-Zone Public Team QB Profile: Pierce Asfalg, Cedar Grove 🏈

Asfalg took full advantage of his lone season under center with the Panthers. He led an explosive offensive attack with over 3,000 passing yards and 21 touchdown passes. Oh, and he also was the team's leading rusher with 988 yards and 15 scores.
