Donna's Story:
I have been a stay at home mum for over 25 years and joined CGL as a volunteer over 18 months ago. I joined the service to gain experience in the workplace as being out of the workplace for so long was always a big negative when applying for employment.
I moved to sessional work as a Recovery worker nearly a year ago and I have continued to gain so much knowledge, skills and experience. I thoroughly enjoy the role. I love listening to people's stories, supporting and motivating them.
Stephany's story:

In this role I support the Criminal Justice Team in bridging clients being released from prison into the local community,
I have also met the most inspiriting people who dedicate their all within St Luke's service, as without them, I would have felt completely overwhelmed. Being able to work with such motivating group of people, encourages me every-day to better myself so that I am able to give back
It’s Volunteers’ Week!
Our volunteers are amazing, and we couldn’t do what we do without them.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all of them and the work they do.
European Hep C Testing Week is a week dedicated to encouraging people to get tested for Hepatitis C and breaking stigma around testing and treatment.
