CRCL–ITEC International Training Programme on “Pharmacopoeial and Forensic Testing of Opium, Opioids and Related Narcotic Drug Formulations”was inaugurated today at CRCL, CBIC, by Shri Manish Kumar, IRS, Chief Commissioner of Customs, Delhi, in the gracious presence of the Director, CRCL and Principal Commissioner, ICD Patparganj.

🌍 12 participants from Fiji, Guatemala, Iraq, Mali, Mauritius, Seychelles & Sri Lankaare participating in the five-day programme under the CRCL ITEC Programme, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

🔬 The programme focuses on forensic analysis of opium and opioids, laboratory practices and scientific capacity building, promoting international cooperation in narcotics control.

A Statement of Cooperation on the Trusted Digital Trade Corridor (TDTC) was signed in Mumbai on 20 November, outlining the way forward for direct Customs-to-Customs collaboration, including pre-arrival information sharing and electronic exchange of origin data.
