The barrier to starting has fallen.
The challenge is what happens next.
As companies scale, complexity becomes the constraint—and the ability to execute together becomes the advantage.
A great episode with Greg Castle @gpcastle12 and Jeff Martin @lead_by_change out now.
It’s never been easier to start a company.
More capital. More programs. More technology. Fewer barriers.
But going from zero to billions in enterprise value?
That still takes exceptional people.
Great conversation with @gpcastle12 as we launch a new Tech Scenes Los Angeles episode.

@lead_by_change @gpcastle12@AnorakVentures Starting has gotten easier. Scaling hasn’t.
As companies grow, complexity compounds: more teams, more dependencies, more decisions, more opportunities for execution to drift.
The companies that make the leap build how they execute as deliberately as they build what they sell.
@lead_by_change The strongest organizations don’t just execute faster. They learn faster.
They turn signals into shared understanding, decisions, and changed action.
That learning loop is a critical part of organizational execution.
@boardyai@Peak_Signal That’s a strong framing. Where do you think execution drift usually becomes visible first after funding: priorities, decision-making, ownership, or cross-functional coordination?
Annual planning should create alignment, force the hard choices, and make execution easier—not produce another document no one uses.
Planning for 2027? We help leadership teams leave with clear priorities, measurable outcomes, and real ownership.
DM to learn more.
Organizational intelligence starts with better questions—not more information.
What’s changing? Where is execution drifting? What are we learning?
The leadership teams that ask—and act on—these questions build organizations that execute together.

After losing his family’s home in the Palisades fire, @CrosscutVC Co-Founder Brian Garrett is helping rebuild his community—and backing the next wave of frontier tech.
His thesis: “AI-driven, bits-enabled atoms.”

We believe humanity’s greatest challenges are solved by teams—not individuals.
When organizations execute together, they unlock the collective genius needed to build a better future.
@Peak_Signal Exactly. Reports create hindsight. Signals create response time.
For mission-critical teams, that difference can determine whether a risk gets managed early or becomes a full-blown execution failure.
Most companies don’t need more information.
They need organizational awareness.
Dashboards show what happened.
Awareness shows why it matters and what to do next.
The advantage isn’t more data.
It’s turning shared context into better execution.

I’ve been reflecting a lot on team visibility as we implement Peak beyond leadership teams and across the enterprise.
When teams share visibility, alignment, focus, accountability, collaboration, and organizational health all improve.
That’s when an operating system starts to scale.

I help CEOs build teams that execute — together.
It took me years to find that sentence.
I’ve always been drawn to founders, outsiders, and innovators trying to bring something new into the world.
People who see the future before others can.
I don’t fully know why this path chose me.
I just know I’m still following the signal.
AI is accelerating execution inside companies.
Humans + AI agents can now produce more work than ever.
That shifts the bottleneck up the stack:
Strategy + Intelligence layer (Peak OS)
Execution layer (humans + AI agents)
Tool layer (software)
As execution speeds up, alignment and learning become the advantage. #AI
Let go. Let the good things happen.
This weekend my daughter (a sophomore) qualified for the CA State Wrestling Tournament.
3 straight weekends.
League. Divisions. Sections.
Advance or go home.
I wasn’t mat side coaching.
I was in the stands. Front row. Just dad.
And it hit me:
You do the work.
You build the system.
You put in the reps.
But then you have to let go.
Grip too tight in wrestling and you gas out.
Grip too tight in leadership and your team does.
In companies it’s the same.
Create clarity. Set rhythm. Align the team.
Then allow people to rise.
Forever a proud dad — never shy about it.
And proud of every one of my teams on Peak.
Let’s go!!!
